 Brief
History
The company was founded in 1989, the same year that our first commercial
software was released. This Windows-based front end for a nationwide
email system ran on top of Windows 2.0, and featured a user-friendly
interface for a BBS/DOS-style email system. It utilized 300 bps
dial-up modems for connections and the Kermit & XModem-protocols
for file transfers.
Our next product, SiteDesigner, a web site management system, was
released in 1996. It introduced a complete web site editing and
management system with automated file syncs over the FTP protocol.
Our FTP Client, 3D-FTP, was released in 1999. It was one of the
first FTP clients in the world to implement extremely fast multithreaded
file transfers, and is still one of the fastest FTP clients available.
Our latest products, BatchSync and InstantSync were released in
2005.
