Dialog box color themes: Silver, WinXP and Blue 
You can now choose from three different colors themes and button
styles for dialog boxes: Silver, WinXP and Blue (original). This
setting is available in Select Skin-window (click Skin-button
on toolbar to access this window). Click

Antivirus scanning for each downloaded file
3D-FTP automatically invokes your virus scanner to check all
downloaded files against viruses. This helps you nail down viruses
before they have change to do any harm on your system. Feature
is very useful if you do not want have virus scanner running in
the background all the time. Or if you want to use secondary virus
scanner to check downloaded files, in addition to primary scanner
running in the background to maximize protection.
Local Bookmarks
Save most frequently used local directories as bookmarks for
instant access.
Set uploaded file time/date with MDTM command
3D-FTP can now automatically set uploaded file time stamp with
MDTM command. Without MDTM command uploaded file gets time stamp
from server clock with time set to upload finish time (original
file time stamp is lost). This feature requires support from FTP
server. You can find this feature in SiteManager (setting is turned
on/off separately for each site).
Select Files - Menu
Select Files-menu contains following commands:
- Select All - Available also as new
Ctrl-A hotkey
- Select All Files -
Select all files, not directories
- Select All Directories - Select
all directories , not files
- Select with Wildcards
- Select files by extension, like select *.htm* and *.jpg files.
You can enter multiple extensions and separate them with semicolon,
like *.jpg;*.gif;*.png
- Select with Compare
- For example: Select all local files that are newer than corresponding
ones on remote server. Or select all remote files that do not
exist on local directory etc. Very useful when synchronizing
or cleaning up directories.
Rename multiple selected files
You can select multiple files > choose Rename-command >
you'll be prompted for new name for each file in sequence. This
makes it faster to rename multiple files.
Multiple View/Edit-rules
New View/Edit-rules allow you to assign different external viewer/editor
based on filename extension. There is separate rule-set for viewing
and editing. For example for Edit-command rules could be:
- .html;.htm -> edit in Dreamweaver.exe
- .jpg -> edit in Photoshop
- .txt -> edit in Internal text editor
- .php -> edit in PHPEditor.exe
- (rest *.*) -> edit with Windows default application based
on file extension
And View-command rules could be:
- .html;.htm -> view in Internet Explorer
- .jpg -> view in ACDSee
- .txt -> view in Internal text editor
- .php -> view in Notepad
- (rest *.*) -> view with Windows default application based
on file extension

- Loaded file size limited only by available RAM
- Wordwrap on/off option
- User configurable font
- Line/Col number display in status bar
- Find / Replace
Hotkeys changes
- F8 = Add selected files to queue
- Ctrl-A = Select All-function
- Ctrl-Y = Download-function (was Ctrl-A)
- Ctrl-E = Edit file-function
- Ctrl-I = Select skin-function (was Ctrl-E)
- Ctrl-S = save/upload in Internal Text Editor (was Ctrl-U)
